It's not for the faint of heart to invest incryptocurrencies. Terraform Labs, Three Arrows Capital and FTX are just a few of the high-profile collapses that have left a trail of destruction. The investment powerhouse, a16z, is still bullish oncryptocurrencies.
In May 2022, a16z announced a fourth fund. 5 billion brings the total amount of funding raised for web3 alone to more than $7. 6 billion. Many traditional VCs have stepped away from the industry, but the company seems intent on staying in it.
